Pulled up to Antonio's this cold Wednesday to join one of my friends for lunch We arrived about 12:30 in the afternoon and the place was about half full, but it was busy with people coming and going. We were promptly seated, menus placed, and orders for drinks taken. The friendly server came back and took our lunch order I ordered the Bubba Love Burger. my friend ordered a cold cut wrap, which was accompanied by steak fries. My burger included barbecue sauce, an onion ring, Monterey jack cheese, along with Cajun spices. All this was served between a freshly made bun that had a lot of spring to it on top, but also toasted perfectly. This burger was delicious, a little overcooked, but it just hit the spot. My friend, who patronizes this place quite often was pleased with his wrap and steak fries along with the coffee. We passed on dessert, Living so close to this restaurant I can't believe this is the first time I've been here. But it won't be the last. All in all, this was a wonderful (and fun) experience. The decor is a little over the top with all the little toys and collectibles, but it was cool. Oh, the restrooms were very clean. And parking out front was not a problem at all. So next time you're in the Simsbury area and you're looking for a quick lunch, reasonably priced, consider Antonios.

My wife and I went furniture shopping in Granby last week and stopped by Antonio's on the way back. It's still our goto place for great food and vibes in a casual, clean and fun restaurant. We've been coming here since the mid 70's and we have never been disappointed. In fact, I nominated them twice for best hamburger in the state and best restaurant in the state. We've had everything on the menu at least once, but we have our favorites. Leave room for desert, the baker's offerings are fabulous.

This is a walk through the times. This place has toys and pictures throughout my life time The trains go on the tracks above your head and then the beautiful fish tanks. Children will be watching and enjoying this. Service was quick and polite and I will be back but we weren't really too hungry so we shared a club sandwich fries and 2 sodas. I was a little thrown back that the price for this was the same that I spent the other night for 3 full meals with salads for 3. So price wise high but everything else the ambience and being able to stay close to home was nice The staff was amazing even the manager was cleaning up. May I suggest that the manager visit the tables to see how things are and that way learning your customers

Nothing like the vintage atmosphere of this restaurant. So much to look at. Decorated now for the holiday. A real family place. The service was amazing and the food was delicious and cooked as ordered. I had the Haddock fish and chips and my husband ordered a calzone. This is a fun place to eat. It will bring you back to your childhood. This is a must try.

Best place to have a family dinner with kids! Perfect for after a game! Tonight was crazy busy because of all the youth sports openers but Antonio's always delivers with great food, fun atmosphere, and amazing service!

Bottom line: I found it enjoyable. Solid. Give it a try. More detail: Decor is a bit unique and gives it a playful, casual vibe. Food is good. Service was really great; the entire staff was working hard the night I was there. Prices are reasonable. Menu, while clearly Italian, was diverse. Burgers. Pizza. Pasta. Chicken. Steak. Lots of stuff. For me, this is a solid casual restaurant. Good for families. Good for Saturday nights when I don't have a reservation anywhere else but decide to eat out at the last minute.

I stopped in this afternoon because I was hungry for a chili dog platter. For $8.25 you get two chili dogs and a pile of incredibly good steak fries. I order from Antonio's all the time usually getting a fantastic turkey club sandwich with steak fries but this afternoon I decided to go with the chili dogs. Great dogs piled high with terrific chili really great meal for a great price.

My husband came here last week for lunch and was raving about the food and decor so here I am. He was right.. the place is packed with vintage artifacts which were fun to look at while we waited for our food. The food was worth coming back. Freshly fried whole fish with huge steak fries were delicious. My barbecue chicken wrap was also packed with flavor. We will be back
